Important Information

Monitoring:

• Monitored technologies: Dynatrace provides out-of-the-box monitoring of major technologies listed in the Supported technologies tab. Specify the technologies you want to monitor or set global monitoring settings.
• Monitoring overview: list the hosts, process groups and applications detected in your environment. To enable monitoring for any individual component, set the element’s Monitoring switch to the On position.
• Host naming: Naming rules enable you to customize and enhance the default names of your hosts
• OS services monitoring: Set up alerts for OS services in undesirable states both for Windows and Linux systemd.

Cloud automation

• Service-level objectives
  • Definition: Define custom Service-level objectives (SLOs) to assist in fulfilling your organization’s service-level agreements.
  • Setup: configure service-level objective evaluations.
• Releases
  • Issue-tracking for releases: Query any issue-tracking system to pull issue statistics for monitored entities into Dynatrace for release analysis.
